We are looking for an energetic and experienced Human Resources Director to guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for our rapidly growing company. This position assists and advises clinical leadership and the executive team about Human Resources issues.

The HR Director promotes and implements human resources programs and directs staff training and counseling. This position takes the lead in developing organizational strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues. The HR Director promotes a corporate culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Healthcare HR experience is highly desired.

  • Development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems. Direct supervision over the Administrative Assistant, HR Coordinator(s), HR Generalist(s), and Corporate Recruiters.
  • Lead company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal requirements including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
  • Establish and maintain company and employee personnel records and reports; able to direct others in the organization and adherence to record-keeping guidelines.
  • In conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), establish the company wage and salary structure. Lead competitive salary market research.
  • With the assistance of the CFO and HR Generalist, obtain cost effective employee-serving benefits; monitor national benefits environment for options and cost savings. Recommend new benefits aimed at employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Direct the preparation and maintenance of such reports as are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and track strategic goal accomplishment.
  • Lead the implementation of the performance management system that includes performance development plans and employee development programs.
  • Define all HR training programs, including onboarding. Provide necessary education and materials to managers and employees.
  • Establish and lead the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce. Interview management and executive level candidates.
  • Determine and recommend employee relations practices.
  • Manage employee communication and feedback.
  • Conduct investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Organization Development required. Field-related Masters degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
  • Experience in healthcare Human Resources is highly desired.
  • Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations preferred.
  • Possess ongoing affiliations with leaders in successful companies and organizations that practice effective Human Resources management.
  • Broad knowledge and specialized experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resource staff members.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the Executive Team.
  • Above average knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Strong experience with HRIS systems, familiarity with Paychex Flex a plus.
  • Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to pass pre-employment background check, including motor vehicle record review and drug screening.
