Summary

We are looking for an HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources and Talent Acquisition department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.

Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • This job is located on site in Phoenix.
  • Being the main point of contact for computer equipment distribution pick ups and drop offs for all new hires and current employees
  • Logging and tracking all computer equipment distribution and collection
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases
  • Prepare HR documents, like employement contracts and new hire guides. 
  • Revise company policies as needed.
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
  • Answer employees’ queries about HR-related issues
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
  • Participate in HR projects 
  • Documents and tracks human resources and talent acquisition actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Sets up and schedules complicated meetings for interviewees, hiring managers, employees, and department heads.
  • Accomplishes human resources department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Supports human resources and talent acquisition department by screening, testing, and interviewing applicants.
  • Prepares payroll by calculating pay, distributing checks, and maintaining payroll records.
  • Provides orientation for new employees by providing information packets, reviewing company policies, gathering withholding and other payroll information, explaining benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents.

  • Proven work experience as an HR Coordinator or relevant role
  • Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
  • Knowledge of labor laws
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
  • Spreadsheet preparation and tracking skills
  • One year of administrative support experience

Language Ability:

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Chrome, Edge, In-house, IEX or other provided systems and Slack.

 

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. BS in Human Resources is preferred.
