Primary Objectives of the Position:
Assist in all areas of livestock and equine feed production.
Communicates with patrons and employees in a manner that will create support and loyalty for United Farmers Cooperative.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Operations
- Participates in daily scheduling of production of feed
- Assists the production staff in daily production, bagging and bulk loading of manufactured feed
- Keeping assigned area neat, clean and uncluttered.
- Assists production staff in keeping all required feed documents current and accurate
- Responsible for following UFC Quality Control protocols and documentation
- Assists in grain handling and warehouse operations as needed.
Maintenance and Housekeeping
- Helps maintain all feed mill and warehouse equipment and facilities according to schedule.
- Assists in outside grounds maintenance and repairs
- Helps maintain established housekeeping and sanitation standards at the location
- Complies with OSHA, state and federal safety regulations.
- Complies with company safety program.
Sales and Service
- Assists customers with unloading and loading whenever necessary.
- Coordinates with Office Staff on required documents
- Report all customer complaints immediately to Location Manager and assist in resolving them
- Responsible for no loss of customers due to poor service.
- Provides service that will continue to build sales.
- Participates in departmental meetings as requested by Location Manager
- Other duties as assigned.
