Description

The Refunds Supervisor directs and coordinates the activities of the Refund/Return and Outstanding Check Team to meet LERETA’s cost, risk, and productivity goals. The role administers company policies, ensures team adherence to all internal and customer SLAs and standards, and identifies opportunities for individual and team process improvement.

Process Management

  • Manages the process of Refund/Return and Outstanding checks for multiple clients
  • Ensures Refund/Return and Outstanding checks are processed within the specific SLA as set by customers
  • Reduces or eliminates all losses and penalties to meet set budgetary goals
  • Manages and controls assigned special projects in accordance with the Business Partner requirements

Technology

  • Participates in the maintenance, development, and implementation of disbursement technology
  • Manages and maintains integrity of Web Open Items and Web Escrow Tracking Systems
  • Submits timely PSR requests and justifications
  • Assists with developing training surrounding all technology changes to current systems

Business Rule Compliance

  • Ensures understanding of all customer business rules, procedures, and contracts
  • Works with compliance team to ensure all changes to existing business rules or procedures are understood and communicated to teams
  • Provides feedback to management on issues or concerns regarding requested changes to current business rules or procedures from customers
 
Position Requirements

 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years tax service and/or loan service experience or 12-18 months experience as an Outsourcing Services Lead or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of tax service and loan service operations and procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of how to process tax bills, manual and tape disbursements, C Service exceptions, and tasks
  • Extensive knowledge on multiple loan servicing systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
