Program Manager-Children's Mobile Response and Stabilization Services

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership, supervision and coordination for Children’s Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (CMRSS).
  • Provides coordination and support to CRW and Administrative Support Staff.  
  • Acts as immediate support to Director, Program Managers and Administrative team
  • Provides training to crisis response workers and ongoing supervision.
  • Provides support in Benefit Assignment and other Administrative tasks
  • Provides task support to program crisis response workers
  • Models Professional behavior within the department
  • Manages department flex funds
  • Coordinates crisis response worker on-call and full time schedule
  • Assists with client enrollment into electronic health record
  • Assists with Quality Assurance
  • Assures departmental goals and/or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame
  • Completes credentialing process in a timely manner and compliance with maintaining credentials
  • Willing to be paneled with private insurance companies
  • Assesses/evaluates of clients at intake/admission, during ongoing treatment/service delivery, and at discharge/transfer
  • Provides educational/supportive group presentations and discussions with clients and/or family members focused on mental illness, chemical dependency/addictions, and/or dual diagnosis
  • Collaborates as a member of an interdisciplinary clinical team meetings, providing clinical support for team colleagues, and engaging in program- related performance improvement processes and activities, participates in assuring adequate staff coverage as directed by supervisor
  • Assists CRW/clients with concrete services and advocacy, interfaces with other system on behalf of client, provides and follows up on referrals when indicated by initial and on-going assessment
  • Supervises students assigned by supervisor, document supervision as required

For Child/Adolescent Population:

  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of child/adolescent stages of growth and development
  • Ability to assess history, assessment, family information, in the context of adult development in formulating diagnoses and individual family support plans (IFSP)
  • Ability to engage family members in decision-making related to child/adolescent service planning
  • Ability to engage family members in education and treatment according to service plans

For Adult Population:

  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of adult stages of growth and development
  • Ability to assess history, assessment, family information, in the context of adult development in formulating diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Ability to engage family members in decision-making related to adult treatment planning
  • Ability to engage family members in education and treatment according to treatment plans
  • Knowledge of psychotropic medications prescribed for adult populations and their use in treatment
