The ideal candidate will support PEO USC. The Navy's PEO Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC) designs, develops, builds, maintains and modernizes the Navy's expanding family of unmanned maritime systems, mine warfare systems and small surface combatants. 

We are seeking a Science & Technology Task Lead to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will:

  • Coordinate and facilitate proactive program office activity including responses to calls, development of presentations, and follow-through reporting requirements entailed by obtaining funds.
  • Support the development of PEO USC Cloud Charts (Technology Roadmaps) to manage technology investments relevant to PEO USC.
  • Provide the continued measurement and assessment of the performance of USC systems at the S&T, advanced development, acquisition, and operational levels.
  • Support the Rapic Technology Insertion (RTI) processes that enable PEO USC to be adaptable to meet Fleet needs and rapidly provide technologies to counter emerging threats.
  • Support the coordination of the PEO USC S&T and the PEO USC Program Offices in S&T related matters, including Technology Transition Agreements and SBIR topics.
  • Support the coordination of annual PEO USC Technology Day, including facilities set-up, materials development, and registration process for participants in the event.
  • Support the Open Business model through the preparation of evaluation reports and coordination of open business efforts.
  • Track experimentation and coordinate efforts for PEO USC and provide support for power and energy technology.
  • Support the SBIR processes, including spend plans, phasing, tracking, and topic coordination.
  • Assist in the coordination of SBIR activities across program offices and warfare centers.
  • Support calls, reviews, evaluations; coordinate TIPS and FCT topic reviews; support the review and data input for FCT.
