JOB SUMMARY: The Program Director is responsible for the overall management and supervision of programs and staff involved in direct service provision to survivors of domestic abuse. These programs include:
24-hour hotline
Emergency Safe House
Safe House children’s services
PALS
DVRT Program
Counseling Services (Outreach/Counseling Center)
Advocacy Services (Burlington County)
DCP&P DV liaison project (Burlington County)
Legal Program (Ocean County)
DVL program Clinical Supervision (Ocean County)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Participate in program development, evaluation and planning
Hire, train and supervise staff as appropriate
Coordinate training opportunities for staff
Participate in the monitoring of annual budgets
Oversee internship program at Outreach/Counseling Center and Safe House
Review or produce statistical and/or program reports monthly, quarterly or annually as required
Maintain membership in domestic abuse related and social service committees, groups and organizations
Serve on Catholic Charities committees as assigned
Oversee domestic abuse training for social service, law enforcement personnel and other professional organizations
Provide community education about domestic abuse and program services as needed
Participate in Quality Improvement committee and/or sub-committee as assigned
