Description

Role:

This position is responsible for driving incremental B2C sales revenue through creating, promoting, and executing sales events across the TrueLearn product portfolio. This will include managing group event campaigns, brand ambassador prospecting and recruitment and growing B2C purchases within target accounts and markets. You will regularly conduct opportunity analysis and develop appropriate plans for recruiting or engaging with an ambassadors to drive institutional account penetration. Sales activities will focus on identifying key prospect accounts, increasing B2C purchases in those accounts by delivering value-added messaging through written and oral communications that showcase TrueLearn's unique differentiators in the marketplace. You will be responsible for working with the B2B sales team and Customer Success team to identify additional opportunities and customer insight that supports closing new deals and customer retention.

The Position:

  • Create, develop and lead group events that drive B2C purchases across the TrueLearn product portfolio
  • Exceeds budgeted group sales targets under the VP of Sales direction
  • Proactively engages in outbound sales strategy/activity in an effort to grow group event sales.
  • Develop B2B new business and expansion opportunities by closely working with TrueLearn's Sales and Customer Success teams to identify top prospects and grow B2C market share within those institutions
  • Develop deep understanding of customer segments and leverage specific product uses and differentiators to increase sales
  • Understands the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, educational trends, learning science behaviors, and can position TrueLearn differentiators to sell effectively.
  • Tracks and understands sales metrics for promotions, and effectively evaluates opportunity for B2C purchases within each institutional account.
  • Recruits brand ambassadors to champion the TrueLearn product portfolio and spread TrueLearn product benefits
  • Develop strong relationships with brand ambassadors to gain market insight and grow the TrueLearn user base
  • Work with key opinion leaders to generate value-based webinars for audience engagement
  • Create customer engagement and segmentation strategies aimed at enabling more relevant, personalized promotional offers/messages/experiences
  • Leverage loyalty campaigns that deliver on the overall brand experience to drive incremental revenue and promote loyalty program benefits
  • Manage overall impact and health of the TrueLearn Ambassador program monitoring loyalty program engagement.
  • Successfully handles inbound and outbound communications in a timely manner
 
Position Requirements

What skills are needed for this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Discipline
  • Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience
  • Flexible and agile, able to prioritize for impact in a highly demanding environment
  • Results oriented, self-starting with exceptional interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
  • Track record of taking ownership, driving results and consistently meeting quota
  • Strong computer skills with Salesforce.com experience as a plus
  • Ability to follow direction and training and eager to learn and grow
  • Experience with salesforce.com a plus
