Crystal Mountain is hiring for Peak Desk Staff at the Peak Fitness Center to offer the highest level of guest service at the resort, responding in a professional and courteous manner to all Peak guests.

Sanitation and safety standards are always a priority at Crystal Spa. In response to the pandemic, even greater care and effort are being placed to provide safe working environments for our team members. Examples include:

  • In-depth training on sanitation and disinfection
  • Employees and Spa guests undergo health screenings, including temperature checks, upon arrival
  • Therapists are provided with medical grade masks, face shields and PPE equipment
  • LEED building is equipped with Air Scrubber technology
  • HEPA Filters are used in each treatment room
  • Top of the line disinfectants are used to clean treatment rooms and guests spaces
  • Nightly disinfection using foggers
  • UV Sanitizers and Medical Grade Autoclave for all metal implements and tools


Job Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Staff the desk at the Peak Fitness Center.
  • Perform all desk daily operations; reservations, cash transactions, and resort information.
  • Responsible for answering multi-line phone system or speaking to guests in person.
  • Answer all Peak related questions, schedule appointments and make suggestions based upon one's training and the guest's individual needs.
  • Setup appointments in a computer software system with all necessary information.
  • Maintaining and organizing Peak reception area, selling items through the Peak Boutique
  • Assisting with general Peak upkeep during shift to include folding towels and refilling waters, etc.
  • Assist guests with questions regarding fitness classes and reservations.
  • Performs daily set up, and cleaning of fitness equipment as needed.
  • Uphold and support recreation expectations Great Service, Quality Programming and Safe Recreation.
  • Communicate to guests and staff of going Resort Events, Activities and Programs.
  • Complete opening and closing daily desk check list.
  • Keep desk organized and presentable at all times.
  • Assist in back of the house upkeep on a regular basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Candidates with prior customer service experience.
  • Experience working with children, fitness or hospitality specialty skills.
  • Computer application experience preferred.


High School diploma or equivalent required.

Physical & Other Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
  • Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
  • Non-smoking candidates preferred.
