Description

GENERAL FUNCTION:

  • Prepares compliance audit data by compiling and analyzing internal and external information.
  • Supports departments by collecting and coordinating internal compliance data with NPS auditors and various departments.
  • Provides administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies; completing projects in support of compliance auditors.
  • Helps others by answering questions and responding to requests.
  • Complies with NPS requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Ensures safety literature and memos for prevention and awareness of work-related accidents distributed.
  • Monitors and tracks all incident reports with site Safety Officer
  • Assists Site Safety Officer with employee accident investigation
 
Position Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Strong verbal and written communication Skills
  • Contract compliance experience preferred
  • Able to analyze and interpret legal, contract language
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Knowledge about visitor services and amenities in the park a plus
  • Willing and able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Able to work with limited supervision
  • Able to follow direction and work in a team environment

Possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean 3-year record and no DUI's within the past 10 years.
