We are committed to our residents and our staff; we have a high staff to resident ratio.   Position Certified Nurse Aide   Description A Certified Nurse Adie provides high quality personal care to Skilled Nursing Home residents in a warm, supportive, and caring manner. Following the resident's care plan and to have a working awareness of state and federal regulations governed by CMS. This position assists residents with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and with transporting into and out of bed, wheelchairs, bathtubs, lifts, and using walkers and canes, etc. This position is also part of a team providing programs that promote physical well-being and relationships by involving residents in activities where they engage in meaningful person to person social interchange with other residents, family, friends and staff.     Position Requirements Qualifications Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and possess, as a minimum a high school diploma or GED. Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws in the State of Alaska. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support certification. Must possess and maintain an Alaskan Food Workers Card.  Practice Notice: To ensure our facility provides the safest environment for our residents, their families and our staff, all newly hired employees must provide evidence of being fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
