Share Email Opening Title Software Quality Assurance Manager  Description Conduct configured Software Release QA Reviews (as needed). Conduct informal weekly Leadership Meeting Audits. Conduct scheduled Organizational Process Audits. Conduct scheduled and/or ad-hoc Organizational Product Audits. Update E-2 SSA Process documents and associated Training materials to reflect current organizational conventions and standards. Audit recurring Software Configuration Control Board (SCCB) Meeting(s), as needed. Audit periodic System Change Request Board (SCRB) Meeting(s), as needed. Audit Project-level Preliminary Design Reviews/Critical Design Reviews (PDRs/CDRs), as needed. Support increasing E-2D requirements and software development efforts within both IBM Rational DOORS and MS Window Server environments.   Position Requirements Degree: B.S. Computer Science or other software technical degree Years of Experience: 10+ years The ability to obtain and keep an active SECRET-level clearance. Proficiency using the MS Office suite of products (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/File Explorer are “must-have” skills; more-than-basic familiarity with Internet Explorer/Google Chrome and MS Visio fall into the “nice-to-have” category). Familiarity with basic Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating system commands, along with the ability to open, read, and edit files in an RHEL environment utilizing the vi editor. Having a detail-oriented personality is a valuable attribute. Possessing the ability to translate written instructions into physical actions is desirable. The ability to differentiate between objective observations and subjective interpretations of events as they transpire, and to annotate the two accordingly. Possess the skills to quickly manually capture objective observations onto some form of hardcopy record, and then translate those notes into Management-ready reports with concerns, recommendations, and corrective actions for implicated personnel. The overall awareness and fortitude to track and status the implementation (or not) of documented corrective actions to completion, and report on same in a timely manner to E 2 SSA Management. Basic familiarity with the IBM Rational DOORS repository for Requirements Management activities. Basic exposure to the IBM Rational ClearQuest application interface for documenting and reviewing both Software Trouble Reports (STRs) and System Change Requests (SCRs). Current understanding of overall document and portion-marking requirements, as well as the ability to stay abreast of evolving security-marking standards within a mission-critical environment.     About the Organization J.F.
