About the Organization Red Oak Recovery, a CARF accredited program, is a premier clinically-driven therapy program for young adults and adolescents. We are here to serve clients, families, and other stakeholders through a very difficult time. Our team provides gender-specific treatment for young adults ages 18-30, and adolescent males 14-17 struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues. Our licensed and experienced staff provide the most clinically sophisticated and integrative substance abuse and mental health treatment available.

As a small clinically-driven program we have the ability to meet each client where they are mentally, spiritually, physically, and emotionally to design a treatment experience that is unique to them.

Description

Red Oak Recovery® is located in the pristine Blue Ridge Mountains, just outside of Asheville N.C. We specialize in the treatment of young adult males, ages 18-30, and are a clinically dynamic, trauma intensive substance abuse and mental health treatment program. The leadership team of Red Oak Recovery® is made up of recognized experts in the field of mental health who specialize in the integration of wilderness and experiential therapy, substance abuse, trauma, and mental health treatment.

 

We have an opening for a Program Manager to provide supervision to our direct care staff and assist our Executive Director in all aspects of program management.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise training, scheduling, reviews and performance management of direct care staff
  • Manage the recruitment and hiring of all direct care staff
  • Participate in the daily meeting of program and logistics department and weekly community meetings for all clients
  • Facilitate staff in-service training and psycho-educational and experiential groups
  • Complete weekly program schedule and bi-weekly timecards for hourly staff
  • Serve in the role of Primary Responder as scheduled
  • Assist with the preparation and editing of Guide Growth Books and Guide Handbook as needed to accompany programmatic changes
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of all areas of base programming
  • Work with treatment team to ensure the highest standard of programming is made available

Position Requirements

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum two years’ experience in the field of substance abuse or a related human services field
  • Registration with NCSAPPB and active pursuit of licensure/certification required
  • Current certifications in CPR/ First Aid
  • NCI Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI)

 

Preferred Experience and Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Social Work or CSAC-I or higher certification
  • Microsoft Office
  • CSAC or CSAC-I preferred
