GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Responsible for tray assembly, distribution and service, general sanitation, cleaning and use of kitchen equipment.
HOURS: MONDAY-FRIDAY, 7:30AM-3:30PM
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Help prepare menu items on production sheet in accordance with forecasted or tallied quantities.
2. Identifies and utilizes cleaning chemicals according to MSDS guidelines.
3. Serves on tray line on a daily bases using portion control according to policy and procedures.
4. Follow safety and infection control policies and procedures, to include incident reporting if necessary.
5. Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy.
6. Transport garbage to assigned areas.
7. Prepares afternoon snack and serve/deliver to classrooms.
8. Complies with federal, local health and department sanitation regulations, by maintaining a clean and sanitized working environment.
9. Completes all daily, weekly, and monthly reports (log sheets and refrigerator and freezer temps) according to policy and procedure.
10. Participate and attend departmental and orientation meetings and training as necessary and perform all other tasks as assigned.
11. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
