Clinical Supervisor - Partnership for Children 

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises all managersclinicians, as assigned
  • Oversees the shift activity, as necessary
  • Participates in formulating & achieving programs’ short and long term goals
  • Participates in reviewing project proposal or planning to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
  • Accesses training resources and provides on-going education to staff; educates staff on community and internal resources for effective service provision; provides community education
  • Conducts quality assurance activities
  • Engages in marketing activities to pursue referral sources
  • Coordinates program’s services with other system partners and service providers
  • Functions with in an interdisciplinary team (internal and external)
  • Provides therapeutic face-to-face and telephonic crisis intervention on and off-site
  • Assesses/evaluates consumers and families at intake/admissions, during ongoing treatment/service delivery and at discharge; collaborates with treatment providers to establish comprehensive assessments and service plans
  • Formulates psychological service plans containing relevant goals, behaviorally measurable objectives (that serve as indicators for evaluating progress) and realistic time frames for achievement
  • Engages consumers in services and accesses/addresses their needs; assesses medication compliance; provides substance abuse services, family consultation, crisis intervention and vocational/educational/employment services, when applicable; includes client feedback in all interventions and utilizes a Strengths based perspective; provides comprehensive services based on Risk of Hospitalization assessment, when applicable
  • Plans for, communicates and documents aftercare plans; completes treatment and/or accessing other services in the continuum
  • Responds to the individual needs of their clientsyouth and families
  • Prevents inappropriate psychiatric hospitalization or re-hospitalization
  • Monitors team caseload
  • Mentors new staff
  • Recognizes and identifies gaps in services and actively collaborates with the community and other providers to develop resolutions
  • Perform administrative functions, as assigned
  • Conducts problem resolution, when necessary
  • Participates in program and staff development
  • Attends internal and external meetings/participates in committees, representing program, agency, and CSOCDivision
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

  • Educational Degree as required by program & standards; demonstrated professional experience providing clinical services with the identified population and their families including experience in responding to crisis; administrative and supervisory experience
  • Professional Licensure and/or Certification as required by program regulations and standards
  • Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance
