JOB SUMMARY:
Purchasing admin is responsible for assisting with purchasing supplies as well as administrative duties. Ensure that the company has the materials it needs to function on a day-to-day basis based on business requirements. Procures and expedites products for the supplies division by obtaining quotes, generating and processing requisitions, and maintaining related records.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
50% Purchasing
Stock replenishment
Analyze buying reports
Create minimum stock levels
Review Back orders & open orders
Allocate available inventory
Set schedule based on vendor
Issue purchase orders based on backorders and buying reports
Receiving
Verification of correct goods & pricing
Resolve shipping issues
Authorize vendor payments
Maintenance
Monitor inbound shipments & track specific shipments
Item Rank/Rate
Communication with internal and external customers regarding buying or clearing inventory
Vendor Specific
Special Pricing management
40% Administrative
Process manufacturer rebates, file backs and run monthly reporting.
Reconciliation
SKU generation
Maintain Product Drops & Price Increases
Maintain pricing and product data base
Create and maintain pricelists
Support flyer/promo design and creation
Support other departments administrative needs when necessary
