The Attendance Officer fulfills the mission of SHC by maintaining and managing all pertinent
student information with regard to attendance records. This position provides clerical support to
the Deans and Administration as well as providing information to students, faculty, staff and
parents. Non-Exempt, Full-Time, 10 month employee

Qualifications & Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of use of office equipment
Must be able to learn and maintain record keeping programs- PowerSchool and Magnus
Ability to be self-motivated and work independently
Ability to work with others and relate to students
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
Certifications and/or Licensure
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Minimum Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Experience as a secretary or administrative
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft software
applications, Google/Gmail and internet usage, and; database management-Financial Edge
