Our Team:

The Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining raw material inventory levels proportional to confirmed orders and coordinates elimination initiatives of surplus product items. This position also ensures accurate documentation of data capture activities.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Review inventory adjustments and investigate and/or correct as necessary.
  • Coordinate cycle counts.
  • Review negative bin report on weekly basis.
  • Maintain exception reports on weekly basis.
  • Review stock status reports to identify obsolete and surplus inventory.
  • Coordinate obsolete/slow moving inventory reduction initiatives.
  • Locate inventory and provide relevant assistance as needed throughout the organization.
  • Report any discrepancies, problems to appropriate supervisor.
  • Generate monthly inventory value report.
  • Monitor & report inventory turn ratios.
  • Coordinate material review board initiatives.
  • Generate monthly operates yield/output reports.
  • Provide training and/or work direction to other staff members within the organization in the management and execution of their areas of responsibility.

 

What you bring to the team:

  • 3-5 years of inventory management and/or warehouse logistics experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. 

 

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • College degree in a relevant field.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English.
