Do you have a thorough understanding of the B2B purchasing process? Are you skilled at leveraging that knowledge to craft compelling content for complex B2B sales? If so, then a career as VertMarket's Product Marketing and Demand Generation Manager may be for you. In this role you will be responsible for creating content and collateral in a variety of formats to support demand generation, product positioning, new product introductions, and account-based marketing. This role is very much a writing and planning role within our marketing department focused on sales enablement.

We are looking to add an experienced B2B marketer to our team who is eager to gain a full understanding of the functionality and purpose of our company's products and services. They will help define the positioning of those products/services,develop, and then deliver messaging that highlights our competitive product differentiation and key features.

The Product Marketing and Demand Generation Manager will work with marketing operations to support the business development team by providing them with product information and sales tools deliverables in the form of collateral, content, and promotions for direct marketing, events, and channel programs. The ideal candidate will be a digital native who has experience taking direction from multiple stakeholders on a project to create and deliver their own content and campaigns.

 
Position Requirements

Qualified applicants will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred), or equivalent experience, with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Business Management.
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing and/or product marketing experience; ideally within the Life Science industry.
  • Expert level knowledge of modern B2B buying life cycles / purchasing processes and how product marketing influences purchasing behavior.
  • Experience creating content for complex B2B sales and a demonstrated understanding of the B2B purchasing process.
  • Excellent writing skills, with a passion for creating engaging, clear and jargon-free messaging.
  • In depth understanding of B2B content marketing, lead nurturing, and social media marketing.
  • Digital nativity, familiarity with the web, B2B marketing, content marketing and social media platforms.
  • A deadline-oriented mindset capable of handling concurrent projects.
  • The ability to balance working on high-level strategic projects and focusing on perfecting the details.
  • Familiarity working with HTML, Marketo, CMS, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, a plus.
