Position Customer Service Liaison  
Description

SUMMARY: Allen Corporation of America is an Authorized Business Partner of Mitel and the Customer Service Liaison will be dealing with projects that include both Cloud and on-premise solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Collection of data for development and integration of VoIP services;
  • Maintain mutual understanding and cooperation between clients and the Communication Technologies Division;
  • Provide application training and support to clients;
  • Provide end-user training to support clients and help guide clients in both on-site and virtual offerings.
  • Project coordination (managed costing & implementation to clients);
  • Over-all project assistance i.e. coordinating sub-contractors on site, working with install crew as needed
  • Collaboration with project managers (Allen Corporation and client) to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment will be either at a company office, at the employee’s home office or at a client’s office. Responsibilities may be carried out on-site at the client’s location or may be accomplished remotely. Support may necessitate after hours schedules.

 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience and certifications on Mitel solutions are required or must be attained. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree with five plus years of experience. Five years’ relevant experience may be substituted for education. Mitel certifications will be considered in lieu of education.

SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE: The following certifications are required:

  • UC specific product and application certifications.
  • Mitel certifications will be strongly considered.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Analytical thinking;
  • Must be self-directed and have the ability to work independently without supervision;
  • Problem solving skills for complex technological systems;
  • Must have an intricate working knowledge of computer hardware and software, IP telephony services and devices, and LAN / WAN equipment. Experience in voice communications with legacy digital PBXs is helpful;
  • Good independent work habits; and
  • Excellent team attitude.
