Share Email Opening Title Technical Writer/Analyst   Category Editing/Technical Writing   Description The Technical Writer/Analyst provides technical editorial, technical administration and analytical support services for CG-9335. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: Conducts research and analysis to support Government drafting of white papers within the area of C4ISR Project Management. Analyses shall include strengths & weaknesses, risk analysis, tradeoff and business case studies at a commensurate level to support an Acquisition Category (ACAT) Level I program. Utilizes reach back capability to research in the following Project Management areas: acquisition; configuration & requirements management; logistics; business finance & earned value management; systems engineering analysis and test & evaluation. Provides technical writing and editing support for drafting and issuing Program Office existing routine correspondence and messages in accordance with the latest series of the US Coast Guard Correspondence Manual and other inter-directorate or office requirements. Reviews reports and submits recommendations to improve accuracy and clarity. Supports the Program Office with the drafting of routine letters, memos, e-mails, and digests. These program-related products require research, input, and coordination to complete. The format shall be in accordance with the latest series of the US Coast Guard Correspondence Manual. Supports the Program Office in the preparation of briefings. Normal lead-time for Briefing Preparation is at least one week. Briefings shall be completed in Microsoft PowerPoint. Provides meeting minutes to the COR and PM Staff for review within 24 hours of meeting completion or the next business day if over a weekend or federal holiday. Assist with proposal development, if required.
