We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will:
- Act as subject matter expert for all Electrical Engineering (EE) / Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Navigation (C4N) work on Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC), Ship-to-Shore Connector (SSC) and/or Landing Craft Unit (LCU) 1700.
- Provide technical guidance and QA final documentation on craft changes - including installation drawings, Tech Manual (TM) updates, and Allied Technical Pubs (ATPs) .
- Develop and execute response plan to emergent Fleet Life Cycle support and engineering issues as a result of (Support Equipment) SEIPT meetings for items related to action items/studies.
- Serve as the EE / C4N lead technical authority for reviewing/answering Liaison Action Requests (LARs) processed and approved by the Planning Yard. Plan appropriate level of travel team support for design craft checks when necessary.
- Interact independently with customers and provide inputs to project managers on programmatic and technical deliverables.
- Train and mentor junior technical personnel and project managers within organization in various technical activities related to system and technical product development for life cycle sustainment of LCAC, SSC and LCU 1700.
- Approve updates to the status of EE / C4N work in PMS377’s Integrated Data Environment Service Center (IDESC) .
