Responsible for the preparation of all food during an assigned shift, in accordance with Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures’ specifications and standards. Also ensure all china and glassware is cleaned efficiently and promptly to make sure silverware and dishware is stocked on a continual basis.


  • Responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes.
  • Assist in all areas of food production as needed including dishwashing, food preparation and line cook responsibilities.
  • Follow all recipes and control procedures.
  • Assist in all areas of the kitchen.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with state health regulations.
  • Knows and follows all safety and security regulations in accordance with Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures policy and procedures.
  • Participate as a team member with all staff and any pertinent Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures’ Associates in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of Guest Services.
  • Ensure compliance to standards in scraping, racking, stacking and washing of china and glassware.
  • Maintain a clean stock of all necessary kitchen utensils and flatware.
  • Responsible for working with all kitchen Associates in ensuring cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, table tops, floors, walk-ins and food equipment in accordance with Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures’ standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Accomplishes required work within expected guidelines.


  • Two (2) years of restaurant kitchen experience.
  • Previous dishwashing experience preferred.
  • Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
