Responsible for providing the Guests with a delightful dining experience from the initial reception until the final good-bye in accordance with Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures' high standards of Guest Service. Provide dining and beverage service to all Guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.


  • Responsible for initial cordial reception to Guests upon arrival, and prompt courteous escort to a dining table.
  • Communicates with Guests regarding wait times, verifying reservations and general information about the venue.
  • Responsible for seating Guests, distribute menus and explain food items.
  • Address any Guest complaints to resolve them quickly and courteously.
  • Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages to restaurant Guests in accordance with venue standards.
  • Performs necessary tasks to service Guests; i.e. taking and filling all food and drink orders and assisting in maintaining Guests dining area in a clean and neat manner.
  • Responsible for receiving payment from Guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures of Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures'.
  • Responsible for the mixing and serving of alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Responsible for receiving, issuing and keeping necessary records of liquor store and supplies.
  • Knowledge of the Dram Shop Act and Bartenders responsibilities and rights under it.
  • Responsible for cleaning all tables, resetting them for new seating; ensuring tables are set in accordance with Venue standards.
  • Perform as a Team member with Front of the House and Back of the House Teams in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation by assisting other Associates as necessary.
  • Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements

  • Begin work on time for their scheduled shifts, schedule PTO in advance and exhibits flexibility in scheduling or supporting other Associates by assuming shifts from other team members or Department demands.
  • Accomplishes required work within expected guidelines.


  • One (1) year bar / restaurant experience preferred.
  • One (1) year of liquor / wine service preferred.
  • Serv-Safe Certification and Alcohol Awareness Certification (CARE) preferred. Certification required within one (1) year of placement.
