We have a need for social workers for a special project to respond and prevent COVID 19 outbreak. This will be Monday to Friday, day shifts, no evenings/weekends (part time available, 2/3 days per week). Mileage reimbursed and PPE's provided.
Project starting as soon as possible until December 1, 2020. Coverage needed for Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Lancaster and Berks Counties.

Provide onsite consultation for facilities using an assessment tool determined by DHS

Assess the facility's capability and capacity to prevent and respond to a COVID 19 outbreak, including but not limited to policies and procedures to prevent introduction of COVID 19 into Facility, fundamental infection control practices and its readiness to respond to an outbreak of COVID 19

Determine whether the Facility is screening residents regularly using a validated behavioral health screening tool approved by DHS

Assist facilities to establish a program for behavioral health screening as needed

Validate that the Facility offers a confidential staff resource for mental health and wellness such as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Assess whether the Facility is offering safe, physically distant resident activities and virtual communication with loved ones to limit the impact of isolation on the resident mental health; offer resources as needed

Assess staff morale; provide guidance and resources for staff recognition and support during outbreaks

Provide referral assistance with any resident identified with a mental health crisis, to include connection with appropriate community resources
