Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalence

Applicant must pass a 5-panel drug screen prior to hire

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial or related background

Competencies and Skills:

Good hand-eye coordination

Ability to work independently as well as with a team

Mechanically inclined

Cognitive Ability:

Basic Math (Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Reading comprehension and writing skills

Communication skills

Physical Demands:

Sit and stand for 8-12 hours while working

Lift 10-25 lbs, push and pull objects up to 50 lbs (can be repetitive at times)

Utilize fine motor skills with repetitive movement of arms, wrists, hands and fingers

Wear safety glasses 8+ hours per shift

Equipment used:

Forklift (once certified)

Basic Hand Tools

Staple Gun

Pallet Jack

Objects with sharp edges

All necessary PPE (Personal Protective equipment) as designated by division Manager

Training:

On the job training

Basic Safety

Hazmat

General Orientation

 

Other Important Information:

Advancement available as you learn the various roles within the department.

No prior experience necessary. Strong work ethic and the ability to work all scheduled hours.

Hours for summer peak season are 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. (Overtime is required during peak hours of May - September.)

Hours for non-peak season, October through April, are 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday.

 
Description

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for producing a quality product by repetitive assembly of components used for various types of archery parts by using small hand tools.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assemble cross bows and other sub-assemblies ensuring components fit and fasten according to company procedures and perform quality checks throughout the building process.

Achieve expected results by consistently meeting production quotas and quality control standards

Maintain detailed knowledge of current/future standard operating procedures (SOP's), 5S program and safety procedures

Maintain quality standards that achieve internal quality goals and meet all customer expectations

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines when handling sharp cutting tools/objects

Contribute to team effort by demonstrating a positive attitude and good work ethic, staying busy, looking ahead for work to be done and monitor work for correctness and quality
