Residential Counselor needed for full, part-time, relief, floater or p.r.n. position in Camden County.
The Residential Counselor Position requires patience, dedication, understanding, and a passion for engaging and providing supervision and structure for youth living in a residential treatment setting. The Residential Counselor provides direct counseling services, instructs and guides youth informally throughout their day to day activities, and co-leads recreation and physical education activities.
The Residential Counselor is a positive role model and provides life skills education for youth in the program. This individual completes documentation and other reporting requirements in a timely manner, contributes on Agency committees, meets regularly with the supervisor, and participates in other continuing professional development opportunities. The Residential Counselor ensures that program structure is consistent with stated goals and objectives, reports to and serves on the treatment team, provides one-to-one assistance with difficult youth, and provides transportation to and from appointments.

BSW - At least 3 years' experience working with youth. Must have the ability to provide leadership, be a role model, and relate positively to youth. Current driver's license with a good driving record of at least three years. Vehicle with current insurance and registration. |
