Sr. Software Engineer - MCA 

Description
  • The engineer must have experience in all areas of the design cycle. This includes but not limited to the following:
    • System level design, architectural and requirement development
    • Development of software process to improve the software cycle times
    • Familiar with Agile and Water fall processes
    • Can provide evaluation of software systems to the functional level
    • Have an understanding of DO-178C and MIL-STD-882E
    • Familiar with all types of testing from factory acceptance to full environmental test
    • Understanding of software and electrical design trade offs
    • Willing to work on individual and lead team projects concurrently
    • Understanding of debugging system, and software design issues
    • Capable of presenting martials to end customers in aspects of the design cycle
    • Willing to work closely with the end customer to develop the best solution
 
Position Requirements
  • Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering
  • Years of Experience: 7-10 years of practical experience
  • The Software Engineer will need to be familiar with the following:
    • Real time operating systems and Non-real time operating systems
    • Use of current software design tools as JIRA, BIT Bucket and Vector Cast
    • Development and understanding of software development plans and proposal
    • Develop of software interfaces for 1553, ARINC 429, RS232, Ethernet, PCIe, RS485, and VME.
    • Understanding and the capability different software code types as C, C## and JAVA
    • Developing both manual and automated test code
    • Capable to design high level architectures and develop requirements for junior engineers
    • Interested in and having experience in leading multi-functional team
    • Understanding of military and industrial standards as FACE, HOST and Open VPX
    • Willing to help develop technical proposals
