A growing hospice organization in Rockland and Orange counties is seeking a skilled LCSW to coordinate their bereavement services. Duties include providing clinical and administrative oversight to a team of social workers who provide counseling, psychoeducation, and case management services to patients and their loved ones. Supervises the coordinator of a robust volunteer program with over 100 volunteers. Presents and speaks publicly both internally and in response to community requests on grief and loss. Oversees the bereavement program that also provides support groups for children ages 4-18 who have lost a parent. Collaborates with the Director of Counseling in the planning of expansion of services in Rockland and Orange counties. Daily access to a car and driving for work is required. This is a great position for a direct services LCSW social worker who is seeking professional development in a beginner administrative role.
