About the Organization SRG is a Washington, D.C. based restaurant company. We create original concepts and help real estate developers, hoteliers and commercial property owners enhance the value of their food and beverage real estate. Privately owned, it is led by industry veterans Desmond Reilly, Kristopher Carr, and Stu Damon. Founded in 1998 and repurposed in 2013, SRG’s core business is the development and operations of three restaurant concepts, The Walrus Oyster & Ale House, CHICKEN + WHISKEY, and doi moi all located in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. SRG is currently executing its full service and fast casual growth strategy.

Location The Walrus Oyster and Ale House - Columbia  

Ensure all tables are dressed appealingly with proper place settings

Keep the server stations well stocked with roll ups, glassware, condiments, etc. continually to help ensure a seamless shift

Comfortably carry heavy trays and bins of dishes for pre bussing and bussing tables to help keep a high turnover rate

Reset tables properly and rapidly to ensure timely availability for guests while using proper sanitation techniques

Work with other bussers as well as with management, servers, hosts, food runners, and bartenders to create a seamless and memorable dining experience for our gusts

Work with a purpose; pre bus tables, keep up appearance of the restaurant, help fellow employees and complete additional assigned tasks to provide a productive and positive work environment

Maintain general upkeep of the restaurant through routine sweeping and mopping, cleaning of seating and ledges, and taking out trash bins

Position Requirements

Proficient in English or Spanish

Ability to listen to directions

Ability to communicate effectively

Stand and work in constant motion for the entire shift

Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
