Position Summary: The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for managing S500 projects using a variety of technology platforms. The PM will plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives of the project are defined and accomplished within the prescribed time frames and funding parameters. This will be accomplished by ensuring through governance that there is strong collaboration between the different functional areas involved in the project, ensuring effective planning and execution of project activities. Operational excellence, goal oriented, and quality are our leading principles when delivering our programs/projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The PM ensures effective project management from the time of initial contract through delivery of the Diagnosys S500 Test System. The following tasks are performed regularly by the PM and though the scope and level of complexity vary based on the program or project, the fundamental tasks remain consistent.

  • Schedule development and management - Create the plan and schedule for technology tasks related to a given project.
  • Project management - lead regular project status meetings and work with Diagnosys program resources to monitor day to day progress of schedule activities, mitigates schedule misses with teams and escalates to Diagnosys leadership as appropriate.
  • Cost (hours) tracking and management -Monitoring and reporting of actual hours worked on a given project compared to annual plan, quarterly forecast, and monthly variance reports.
  • Risk and issue management -Identify and document risks to technology delivery and issues if and when a risk is realized. Formal entry of risks and issues is completed within project management workbooks.
  • Develop, maintain and manage customer relationship throughout the project life cycle to include necessary visits, reporting, and project impact correspondence.

  • Ability to effectively present technical and non-technical information to customers and senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to estimate, plan, and monitor labor hours.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required – Electrical Engineering preferred
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in technology project management or software development with lead or manager responsibilities preferred.


Computer Skills:

  • Must be proficient using MS Office Application such as Excel and Word
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Project and associated project management software.

    Certificates and Licenses: PMP Certification desired

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Support, lead and manage a team.
