About the Organization SRG is a Washington, D.C. based restaurant company. We create original concepts and help real estate developers, hoteliers and commercial property owners enhance the value of their food and beverage real estate. Privately owned, it is led by industry veterans Desmond Reilly, Kristopher Carr, and Stu Damon. Founded in 1998 and repurposed in 2013, SRG’s core business is the development and operations of three restaurant concepts, The Walrus Oyster & Ale House, CHICKEN + WHISKEY, and doi moi all located in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. SRG is currently executing its full service and fast casual growth strategy.

Greet, serve, and communicate with guests cordially throughout their entire visit to ensure a positive and memorable dining experience

Maintain high knowledge of the food, cocktail, wine, and beer menus to explain the items to guests in an enthralling way

Respond to guests' questions while suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, specials, etc.

Properly present, open and serve wine

Work with other servers as well as with management, hosts, bussers, food runners, and bartenders to create a seamless dining experience for our gusts

Enter all orders via POS system in a timely manner according to guests' coursing preferences

Ingrese todos los pedidos atravésdel sistema POS de manera oportuna de acuerdo con las preferencias de curso de los invitados

Trabaje con unpropósito, continuamente sirva agua a sus mesas,recojay arregle las mesas, ayude a otros empleados y complete tareas asignadas adicionales para proporcionar un entorno de trabajo productivo y positivo

Maneje todas las transacciones de efectivo y tarjetas decréditocon cuidado

Asista a sesiones educativas/ de desarrollo según sea necesario

Position Requirements

Excellent English speaking and communication skills

Ability to provide top notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.

A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks and other staff.

Stand and work in constant motion for the entire shift

Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised

Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system

Possesses strong interpersonal skills

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Meets state minimum age requirement to serve alcohol

1 year of previous serving experience (Preferred)

Able and willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays (Preferred)
