The Director of Millwork Manufacturing at Shaw/Stewart is charged with managing the overall operations of the Millwork Manufacturing department . This integral member of the Shaw/Stewart leadership team must be well versed in manufacturing and production, with a proven track record of continuous process improvements resulting in cost savings. This individual oversees the Production, Drafting and Engineering, Project Management, and Estimating and Sales teams within the Millwork Manufacturing department. They are responsible for driving Shaw/Stewart culture and values with all members of the team, empowering them to maximize performance and efficiency using Lean principles. Strong verbal and written communication skills will be necessary to lead and hold team members accountable.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead, Manage and hold department Accountabilities
  • Project Management – Relationship management with internal and external customers
  • Production – Quality control, safety, and driving a Lean culture
  • Engineering and Drafting – Software and equipment utilization and drafting quality
  • Estimating and Sales – Effective job scope meetings resulting in accurate and on-time estimates
