Cambridge Management, Inc. is hiring a Porter to assist with housekeeping and grounds keeping. The primary responsibilities of the Porter involve the upkeep of each apartment and common area in order to enhance and maintain the community's appeal. The Porter will also assist the rest of the staff, as directed, in their efforts to manage the Community in an efficient manner.

 

Responsibilities

  • Clean the office, clubroom, and restrooms on a daily basis.
  • Clean and maintain models on a daily basis.
  • Keep all vacancies fresh and ready for showings.
  • Clean and maintain laundry facilities and all common areas daily
  • Inform supervisor of any damage or repair required on perimeter or in common areas of Community
  • Assists with "make-ready" duties when requested.
  • Helps clean and maintain storage areas.
  • Completes minor and routine service requests
  • Distributes resident communications to residents; e.g., upcoming events, pest control notices, newsletters.
  • Performs work area clean up and safety related duties.

Common areas that are routinely cleaned include:

  • Mail rooms.
  • Dumpster areas.
  • Recreation areas.
  • Walkways
  • Parking lots and drives.
 
Position Requirements

 

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple high priorities at once
  • Flexible demeanor and positive attitude
  • Ability to work evenings, overtime, holidays and weekends, as needed
  • Must be thorough, reliable, responsible, honest, organized, flexible and service-oriented

Required Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent field.
