Responsible for insuring quality welding maintenance by performing general and advanced welding  repairs on all company equipment in a safe, efficient and productive manner.



  • Able to read, comprehend and fabricate from blueprints.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform all types of welding processes.
  • Assisting other welders as needed and completing special projects for the shop supervisor upon request.
  • Wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE) related to task being performed as well as using all required safety equipment and procedures.
  • Must be able to use power tools safely (hand grinder, bench grinder, air chipper, cutoff saw and drill press.
  • Operate and drive light and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must be forklift certified.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Position Requirements


  • Experience and ability to weld stainless steel and aluminum.
  • Proficient in all welding processes using stick, Mig, and Tig
  • Proficient in using a cutting torch and plasma cutter.
  • Knowledge and ability to build proto types, jigs and fixtures.
  • Proficient in using an iron worker machine.
  • Ability to read, write and figure mathematical calculations.
  • Excellent verbal, written and comprehension communication skills.
  • Able to operate service truck i.e.; welder, compressor and crane operations properly.
  • Willingness to work overtime, nights and weekends
  • Ability to work near, around or on light or heavy equipment
  • Class A or B CDL Preferred 



  • Lift objects of various dimensions and up to 100lbs. of weight frequently
  • Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and climb ladders
  • Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects
  • Ability to use vibration tools repeatedly
  • Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Ability to repeatedly reach, squat and tolerate prolonged standing / walking / sitting
  • Ability to repeatedly walk on uneven surfaces
