Summary:

Yorktown systems Group is seeking highly qualified Subject Matter Experts to provide professional services and support to The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has dramatically increased the amount of resources dedicated to intelligence, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, criminal investigations, and other areas of operational support to meet the mission of the FBI since the attacks of September 11, 2001. The need for specialized personnel with FBI-specific and/or Law Enforcement (LE)/Intelligence Community (IC) knowledge is a result of the shortage in government staffing and the requirement for experienced personnel in specialized areas. With four operational branches and a few un-branched divisions, the FBI manages a significant number of programs that vary in scope and complexity to support its mission. These programs include a wide range of daily support services. The SMEs will perform a wide range of daily support services to the operational programs such as, but not limited to, providing consultation, data collection and analysis, intelligence interviewing, training, and assisting with project implementation and management, and policy and program development.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks, some of high complexity with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled in developing scenarios for analyzing requirements and solutions.
  • Works with end user groups to evaluate and solve technical problems.
  • Coordinates and manages the preparation of gathering information, analysis, evaluations, and recommendations for proper implementation of programs in any of the following specialties: intelligence analysis and law enforcement analysis.
  • Defines critical intelligence topics and initiate comprehensive or unique research efforts on topics as related to extensive or speculative analytical projects.
  • Oversees requirements for new databases and information services, and develop new research methodologies.
  • Assists in meeting the overall analytical objectives in relation to existing or proposed policy and identifies required analytical resources.
  • Performs planning in support of existing and projected organizational mission requirements.
  • Makes assessments as to overall resource capability to answer existing/projected requirements, and identifies resource shortfalls.
  • Assists in the development of Intelligence policy for collection management techniques and governing internal and external information sharing among member of the intelligence community.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Must have 10 years of experience in the required subject field, including 6 years of specialized experience. Additional education may be substituted for years of experience.
  • At least 6 years specific technical experience directly related to the required area of expertise within the law enforcement community, intelligence community or other related Government Agency.

Clearance: Must possess a TS/SCI security clearance.

Travel: Travel may be required.

Location: Various locations within the United States at or near FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC or any of its field offices across the U.S. and may require performance outside of the United States (OCONUS).
