Together the five businesses create a leading omnichannel retailer of specialty agriculture and hydroponics equipment and supplies..   Description GreenCoast is searching for a Facilities Maintenance team member to join our expanding operations team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast pace retail environment, and be a self starter. Candidates must have experience building, installing, and repairing structures, fixtures, furniture, and other items using different types of materials, including wood and steel.   Position Requirements Primary Duties Provide routine maintenance for all of our facilities, including, but not limited to, light plumbing, electrical, repainting, etc. Work with blueprints provided by CAD Designer. Work with materials, such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, and/or drywall. Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to repair and/or erect structures. Build and install furniture, e.g. counters, cabinets, desks, partitions, doors. Assist in the development of sound structures, as required. Replace, repair, and install structures and building pieces, as requested. Move and install machinery, as requested Mandatory Skills Strong attention to detail Stamina, manual dexterity and basic math skills. Strong, dependable, quick problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and projects. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Clear understanding of general site/project safety precautions and practices. Plumbing and electrical experience are a plus.
