Establishes new rental accounts through phone calls and in-person visits to potential customers. Builds, develops, and grows client and vendor business relationships vital to the success of the rental business. Present turnkey services to potential customers. Ensures project plans and updates are well communicated to clients and internal staff. Maintains knowledge of all rental products, pricing and terms, sales and policies.   EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Minimum Associate’s degree or Vocational degree in Mechanics, Industrial Engineering or Construction Management required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Three years minimum experience with B2B direct sales within the equipment industry preferred. Previous experience in the rental industry a plus. Pump equipment background highly desirable. Strong business development and customer retention skills.   Position Rental Outside Sales   Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES: Strong working knowledge in rentals, customer service and sales techniques. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite: including Word, Excel, and Outlook, Gmail, and Drive. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to elicit cooperation and defuse tension, if necessary. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.   WORK ENVIRONMENT: May work under extreme weather conditions. May work closely with and use moving machinery and/or mechanical parts. May be exposed to fumes and toxic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.   CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.   OTHER: Overtime may be required short notice.
