Your Role at MOBE

As the Director of Learning and Development (L&D), you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, management and implementation of MOBE's enterprise Learning Initiatives. You will evaluate L&D programs, recommend enhancements, lead a team that designs, develops and delivers learning plans and classes consistent with business needs and budget. This position will partner with cross-functional subject matter experts throughout the development of content and delivery methods. You will also serve as a broad subject matter expert on leadership, professional and technical development best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Refine and implement the enterprise L&D roadmap
  • Develop a learning strategy that will meet the needs of business including, but no limited to, an online eLearning program
  • Lead a team that designs, develops and facilitates learning sessions consistent with business needs
  • Oversee all related content, with routinely scheduled updates
  • Facilitate training and team building activities, as needed
  • Review and evaluate training program and facilitator performance
  • Conduct needs assessment as necessary to determine development and/or performance gaps
  • Accountable for the Learner's understanding of the content through the evaluation process
  • Supervise and develop new facilitators, instructional designers and content as needed
  • Collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Participate in and/or facilitate management/leadership meetings as requested
  • Other duties as assigned to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by MOBE's Guiding Principles

 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or another relevant field
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in learning and development or similar field
  • Experience building professional development programs for leadership and individual contributors in both onsite and remote settings
  • Proven proficiency in change management and organizational development
  • Strong understanding of training methodology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Superior facilitation skills, supported by great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and with remote teams of staff
  • Self-motivated and innovation-driven
  • Experience with systems thinking, talent management and talent development

Preferred:

  • Healthcare experience
  • Experience training a remote workforce
  • Proficient in using virtual learning tools and best practices
  • Desire to be a part of an organization looking to transform health culture
