Share Email Opening Title Pouching Slitting Operator   Number of Openings 2   Description Job Description Job Title: Pouching/Slitting Operator Reports to: Pouching and Slitting Supervisor Department: Manufacturing Classification (exempt or nonexempt): Non-Exempt Grade / Level (If applicable): N/A Supervises (If applicable): Slitting Operator       Position summary: Production of the Pouching/Slitting department   Position Requirements Qualifications required: 2-4 years flexible packaging equipment experience preferred 2-4 years slitting experience Technical and mechanical knowledge of bag/pouch machines Proficient mathematical and measurement skills Knowledge of metric conversions   Essential functions and responsibilities: Follow production flow Adjust machines as necessary Assist with changeovers as necessary Communicate quality issues to all necessary personnel Complete all necessary production paperwork Work safely and follow all company safety policies and procedures Receive incoming material Follow all quality and food safety policies and procedures to ensure products meet all applicable customer, regulatory and industry standards.
