About the Organization Red Oak Recovery, a CARF accredited program, is a premier clinically-driven therapy program for young adults and adolescents. We are here to serve clients, families, and other stakeholders through a very difficult time. Our team provides gender-specific treatment for young adults ages 18-30, and adolescent males 14-17 struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues. Our licensed and experienced staff provide the most clinically sophisticated and integrative substance abuse and mental health treatment available.

As a small clinically-driven program we have the ability to meet each client where they are mentally, spiritually, physically, and emotionally to design a treatment experience that is unique to them.

Description

Red Oak Recovery® is seeking an Admissions Counselor.

 

This role will be responsible for monitoring and assisting the intake process at Red Oak Recovery. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills in order to work closely with family members, stakeholders and potential clients throughout the entire admissions process.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Clear, effective, prompt, and accurate communication with inquiries via telephone, email, or other compliant and secure means
  • Follow closely and understand HIPAA compliancy in all transactions
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with all inquiries
  • Report true and accurate information regarding Red Oak Recovery policies and programming to all inquiring parties through extensive knowledge of programming logistics
  • Execution of all admissions paperwork and agreements, assisting and coaching all parties involved to ensure all legal documentation and pertinent contact information is complete.
  • Take initiative to engage in follow-up conversation to ensure that needs of all inquiring and involved parties have been met
  • Screen all applications received for completeness, forwarding information to Clinical Director for review
  • Assist in marketing and building relationships with referral sources
  • Assist in creating marketing materials, developing new markets, and methods
  • Attend regional conferences and local events as needed
  • Develop and present marketing and sales reports as needed
  • Be part of on-call rotation

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Extensive knowledge of recovery industry
  • Current CPR/ First Aid

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Able to communicate 12-Step knowledge and other recovery language
  • Knowledge of varying intervention models
