SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing dining service to all Guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner:

EXPECTATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

  • Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages to hotel Guests in accordance with venue standards.

  • Performs necessary tasks to service Guests, i.e. taking and filling all food and drink orders.

  • Responsible for receiving payment from Guests in a prompt and courteous manner.

  • Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures of Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures.

  • Performs as a team member with: Venue Hosts, Supervisors, Food Servers, Kitchen Staff and all Associates in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation.

  • Assist other restaurant personnel with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.

  • Assists in maintaining a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with health regulations.

  • Any and all other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
? Responsible for serving alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
? Responsible for serving beverages to the Guests on the floor in a prompt and efficient manner.
? Responsible for receiving, issuing and keeping necessary records of liquor inventory and supplies.
? Maintain a neat and clean bar station.
? Knowledge of all beverage regulations.
? Knowledge of the Dram Shop Act and bartenders responsibilities and rights under it.
? Participate as a team member with all Beverage Servers, Barbacks, Utilities, Supervisors and any Associates to ensure efficient operational standard.
? Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record.
? Responsible for adhering to established cash control policies and procedures of the Venue.
? Any and all other duties as assigned

 
Position Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • One (1) year of restaurant & liquor experience required.

  • Serv Safe Certification preferred.

  • Alcohol Awareness (CARE) Certification preferred (Certification is required within one (1) year of placement).
