About the Organization Red Oak Recovery, a CARF accredited program, is a premier clinically-driven therapy program for young adults and adolescents. We are here to serve clients, families, and other stakeholders through a very difficult time. Our team provides gender-specific treatment for young adults ages 18-30, and adolescent males 14-17 struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues. Our licensed and experienced staff provide the most clinically sophisticated and integrative substance abuse and mental health treatment available.

As a small clinically-driven program we have the ability to meet each client where they are mentally, spiritually, physically, and emotionally to design a treatment experience that is unique to them.

Description

Red Oak Recovery® is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to work out of our main office in Asheville.

 

The HR Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level, working closely with the HR Manager and assisting the HR Manager in a variety of tasks.

 

The ideal candidate enjoys helping others by providing HR assistance to employees so they can provide superior customer service and care for our clients. Strong communication skills and maintaining confidentiality are essential in this role. This is a great opportunity for someone that is excited about developing their skills and has a desire to grow a career in the HR field at a company that makes a difference in the lives of others.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintaining employee personnel records
  • Posting job opportunities and supporting recruiting functions
  • Assisting with interviews, new hire orientation and employee relations
  • Coordinating onboarding for new employees
  • Maintaining HR spreadsheets, employee directories and job descriptions for all positions
  • Tracking performance evaluation completion
  • Assisting with payroll functions
  • Performing benefits administration and communicating benefit information to employees
  • Tracking completed trainings and employee development programs
  • Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

Position Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Office and/or Human Resources experience
