Coordinator needed for a large multi-service organization dedicated to building an inclusive New York City by providing resources and supports to children and adults. The position calls for social workers who have some experience working with low-income, high-needs families, substance use, mental illness, and/or homelessness.
The Coordinator works directly with the children and families residing in the shelter. Conducts biopsychosocial evals, prepares independent living plans, case management and counseling (topics include abusive behavior, family dynamics, healthy personal choices, substance abuse, mental and physical health/trauma related issues) in individual, group, family, psychoeducation modalities. Positions are available in Queens and the Bronx.
Positions can be temp, temp to perm or permanent.
