Share Email Opening Title Site Superintendent  Category Construction   Description Wilbert Cemetery Construction is looking for a new Site Superintendent, our supervisor are working supervisors, they offload trucks, set crypts, run all of our machines, install columbarium niches, install doors on niches, hire temp help, set up projects prior to being onsite, process daily reports, train new hires. Essential Job Functions 30 Hour OSHA card Construction experience Management experience Know how to operate machines (wheel loader, dozer, skid steer, telehandler, and excavator) Can read and understand site plans (elevations, grade contours, etc.) Works well with others Willing to learn new products and processes Willing to teach new employees Willing to travel Willing to be onsite for months at a time depending on the project and work load Has experience with Microsoft Excel Communicates well with fellow employees, general contractor, other subs onsite   Position Requirements Qualifications Associates Degree preferred or 3-5 years of supervisory experience in construction Must be 30 HR OSHA certified Must be able to operator skid steer, excavator and other heavy equipment Ability to maintain control of a fast pace multiple project environment Excellent people skills Ability to communicate and influence members of the workforce to produce desired results. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Understanding of manufacturing process Thorough knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles Ability to coach and train employees and issue safety/performance related corrective actions Ability to schedule assigned labor based on production requirements and handle multiple tasks effectively Knowledge of OSHA standards Intermediate MS Word, Excel and Power Point skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership skills NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
