Description

WAGO Corporation is seeking an individual to promote WAGO's automation products to WAGO employees, its distributors, and its customers by providing high quality technical services and support.

Experience/ Qualifications: Four-year accredited university degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Recent work experience in the sales and applications of industrial control systems, PLC programming and industrial control system design. Must demonstrate ability to perform assignments in an accurate and timely fashion. Must have good organizational, oral, written and communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide telephone and email service/support during WAGO business hours to WAGO employees, distributors, and customers, offering technical instruction as well as pricing and availability information on WAGO automation products.
  • Record customer service/support details in WAGO's customer relations database alerting sales associates of service/support activities.
  • Support training efforts as needed of WAGO employees, its distributors, and its customers.
  • Produce product support materials (e.g. application notes, how-to guides, example programs, tutorial videos, etc.) as needed to illustrate functionality of WAGO automation products.
  • Produce product demos (e.g. trade show panels, demo programs, etc.) as needed for use as sales aids for WAGO automation products.
  • Lead and participate in intra-department trainings targeted at improving the knowledge and support capabilities of all members of the WAGO Automation Support department.
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required to provide training, technical sales support, and/or assistance at trade shows as directed. Travel may be up to 10% annually, based on company needs.
