Prompt and courteous patient reception. Accurate registration and order entry of services requested in Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging Services. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Greets patients/family members upon arrival to the department. Accurately registers patients for exam. Accurately enters orders into ITS module of Meditech. Professional Growth. Performance Improvement. Fiscal Responsibility. Communication. Patient's First EXPECTED BEHAVIORS: Accurately and timely registers patients for exams with less than 5 error rate. Accurately and timely enters orders into ITS module of Meditech with less than 5 error rate. Seeks educational opportunities to improve knowledge/skill. Participates in identifying or recommending areas for improvement. Completes work in an efficient, timely manner that is conducive to team work and cost containment. Communicates in a clear, concise and professional manner. Provides care following the Patient's First Commitment. Efficiency in utilizing the DigitizeActive Fax, and perform duties in PACS.   Position Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School Education or GED Equivalent. Mandatory Annual Continuing Education: Customer Service, Fire and Safety, Confidentiality-HIPAA, Infection Control, Corporate Compliance.
