SUMMARY
Handle guest transfers for currency, gaming chips, and paperwork necessary to support casino play. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the MCN Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Facilitate a wide range of financial transactions and handle any paperwork that may be required in an efficient and timely manner.
Cash personal checks, traveler’s checks and cash advances on credit cards according to cash handling/Cage policies and procedures.
Sell gaming chips or tickets to patrons, and exchange chips and tickets for cash.
Utilize currency counters, adding machines, and computers to calculate and record transactions.
Finalize and balance cash drawer transactions, beginning and ending with the same amount of monies.
Adheres to Cage policies and procedures related to currency handling, check cashing, chip handling and guest service.
Responsible for multiple transaction recording and SAR activity.
Knowledge of local jurisdiction and gaming laws (Federal and Tribal) as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.
Brings guest disputes and unusual guest activities to the attention of the Supervisor.
Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient guest service.
Ensure work area is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
Additional duties as assigned.
