Description

Dassault Falcon Jet, one of the most sought after brands in business aviation is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Little Ferry, New Jersey. This is not a remote work position and there is no relocation for this role.

 

About the Job

Under the direction of the Quality Assurance / Import-Export and Regulatory Compliance Supervisor, the QA Inspector is responsible for inspection and assessment of incoming and outgoing aircraft parts and related material. The QA Inspector ensures that all products are in full compliance with Dassault Aviation and all applicable EASA/FAA regulations.

 

Responsibilities

· Assists personnel in the Serviceable and Unserviceable Receiving Area in determining the impact of Maintenance (chapter 5) /Overhaul Requirements

· Validating certain parts by electronically pre-qualifying and issuing EASA Form 1 Airworthiness Documents

· Assists New part receiving and Shipping areas to ensure that proper airworthiness documentation accompanies all parts

· Enters pertinent Shelf-life and Service-life information into database as part of the Receiving function and monitors its impact on warehouse stock

· Monitors tooling for condition and periodic calibration requirements

· Works with Account Representatives to resolve any discrepancies regarding customer-returned stock

· Other duties may be assigned by management in order to meet department/business objectives as needed

 

Required Qualifications

· High school graduate or equivalent

· 5 years commercial or civil aircraft maintenance experience

· 2 years quality administration or control experience in aircraft or aircraft component maintenance

· Familiarity with EASA/FAA regulations with regard to parts procurement, documentation and traceability

· Experience with the use of aircraft or component illustrated parts catalogues

· Basic-level proficiency in the use of PC Windows business software (MS Office preferred).

· Ability to work well with others with little direct supervision

· Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both internal and external customers in a professional manner

 

Desired Qualifications

· FAA A&P Technicians license or equivalent license

· Ability to read, write and understand French is desired

· College degree or equivalent related experience desired

· Two years of experience with ISO 9002 certification is a plus

· Technical proficiency with the type of products being supported by DFJ preferred
