CZ-USA is the US-based subsidiary of Ceská zbrojovka Uherský Brod, a Czech firearms manufacturer. Based in Kansas City, Kansas since 1991, CZ-USA is responsible for the importation and distribution of CZ products in the United States.

Job Purpose: Ensures the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Moderating Active Directory and Exchange in a virtual environment by; creating and modifying new and current user profiles, access control through Global/Domain local and Security/Distribution group classification, administering file permissions to network shares and subfolders, creating and enforcing group policies
  • Network security through monitoring logs, email/Exchange Server, firewall management, SSL and P2P VPN/RDP access
  • Routine scheduled monitoring and maintenance of Domain Controller, servers, WAPs, firewall, virtual machines, backup recovery, and Windows updates for workstations and servers
  • Enact optimization and quality of service for network traffic on File Sever(s) to combat bottlenecks during heavy usage
  • Novice scripting with PowerShell, Visual Basic and batch for automating tasks and in conjunction with task scheduler
  • Utilizing remote support tools while helping end-users with issues and setting them up for end-users to securely access company materials outside of the office
  • End-User support troubleshooting hardware/software issues and upgrades, lower level ERP errors, IP Phone/cell phone issues, network connectivity, and both IP and non-IP printers
  • End-User support for all electronic devices on their desks or in the office including workstation computers, monitors, printers, document scanners and UPC scanners, phones, audio equipment, projectors and fax machines
  • Installation and configuration of new workstations including customizing and preparing IP phones, installing the OS and proper software on each computer via SysPrep and running updates before physical installation of workstations
  • Installation of cable runs in the warehouse and office to add or replace outdated cable drops for workstations and IP cameras – Cat5e, Cat6 and Fiber
  • Installation and configuration of new switch equipment including switches, patch panels, battery backup, and cabinet/racks.
  • Installation and configuration of IP cameras, access control panels
  • Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Timely and regular attendance is required to ensure work flow is not interrupted.
  • Assist all employees in department in completing their work when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

Preferred Skills:

  • 3-5 Years of relevant IT Helpdesk/Support experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of hands on Windows Server 2012 or higher experience.
  • 2 + years of hands on Active Directory experience.
  • Networking and/or Security Certifications.

Employment Requirements:

  • Ability to legally possess firearms under applicable laws
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must know basic firearm safety
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass criminal background test and drug test
  • Must be extremely accurate
  • Must be proficient in spoken and written English
  • Must Possess excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to use email and phone extensions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Aptitude to learn new technologies and technical skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Must have the ability to multi task, effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities
  • Must be punctual, meticulous and reliable
  • Must be able to work 8-hours daily, 5-days weekly, Monday through Friday
  • Must be able to work overtime when required
